My coach was ready about 5pm and I wasn't tired, so I decided to just head out .... The significance of the odometer is that before I stopped for the night in Winchester, VA, I drove from Pennsylvania, through Maryland, West Virginia, and into Virginia.
Since the news said Hwy 95 was a mess from the hurricane, I decided to drive Hwy 81 all the way to Lynchburg, VA. As I crossed into Virginia, on the right was a beautiful cross .... all lit up in blue. I was glad to see it at night. I understand there are other colors, but I enjoyed the blue.
I do not remember seeing such a large concentration of large trucks, even in California's central valley as there was on the highway today. I wonder if they were avoiding Hwy 95 as I was ....
