Thoughts and observations ....

Fall has officially arrived on the calendar .... and I think it is actually here in Pennsylvania weather-wise.  We have had rain for 2 days and the temp has not hit 60 degrees.  It feels nice after all the heat in New Jersey; I guess it is time to swap the clothing from summer to winter.

I have driven miles and miles of tree lined roads the past couple of weeks, but have yet to see the color changes in the trees.  Maybe now with the cooler weather they will start to change.  I understand they are predicting another week or two for the northeast states.

They have as many "diners" in this area as the northwest has Starbucks; they are within blocks of each other.  A very popular building design is the stainless steel/metal looking exterior. I asked if they were once a chain and was told "no," they were just a popular design of that day.

This is one of them.  I had breakfast here on Thursday while I was out of my coach.  I have to be out of the coach each day by 7am, so it makes a long day.

I don't know what is going on with my GPS but I am spending more and more time trying to find various oddities to take a picture; I don't know if the challenge lays with my GPS or where I'm getting the information; probably a combination.  I use a Good Sam mapping system, plus various books I have to find different things to see and do, plus various things on the fly.  When I get to the address, they are not there .... it is getting a little frustrating sometimes, as it is involving more time and mileage.
