Hwy 9

This giant wine bottle is part of a series of wine bottles promoting the Renault Winery; it was built between the late 1930s and the early 1940s. At one time, there were around 80 of these bottles scattered nationwide.

Driving along Rt 9, this was the block wall separating someone's front yard from the road ... the wall was maybe a 1/4 mile long and covered front, top and inside!  There was more on the property ....

I drove by Mystic Island on the way back ... more Jersey Shore.
