Reno

Not much to report from my drive to Reno. 

I headed to Virginia City by way of Hwy 341 through Dayton.  This road into Virginia City has a 15% grade and forbids RV and truck use.  Virginia City was a disappointment.  It is just a tourist town and was crowded, so I didn't stop.

The scenery on Hwy 341 was nice though.

The museum I went to see was closed.  Another casualty of "shoulder season."

Besides a haircut and a stop at a used book store, I found the Carpenteria Genie.



By far, the most frequent sign I have seen in Nevada ....

Tomorrow I'm on the road again ...
